Diners at the Ansley hotel rathskeller witnessed a confrontation when a well dressed man insulted Mrs. Oscar Weinmaster and struck her husband. The assailant fled through the entrance, was pursued by police and pedestrians, and corralled under a building on James Street Poplar intersection. He was taken to headquarters after being found intoxicated and charged with drunk and disorderly conduct. The man gave the name Littler aged 30 of Chicago after initially providing Charles Walters. bond set at $1,000 by Night Chief Jett. Mr. Weinmaster planned to pursue the case in court at 2:30 this afternoon.
