Fort McPherson Builds Tiny Sewage Plant To Protect Nearby Lands

Officials say the local city plant may not be ready by June and emphasize the need to shield surrounding farms from contamination. The Fort McPherson unit cost about $26000, uses a settling tank and crushed rock filtration, and has operated for only a few weeks.
