Recall election ballots prepared for voter distribution
Ballots for the recall election were placed with the printer and will be distributed to election managers next Wednesday. The form lists recall and against recall options for six police commissioners and the mayor, with voters able to scratch the appropriate paragraph for each official. Registrations can be challenged at the polls if tax defaulters appear on the list, as purging was ruled unauthorized. The recall campaign expects a strong majority against the mayor and the police commissioners, with turnout anticipated around 17,000 votes.
