Girl killed as lightning strikes Georgia home

Increase in Immigration for November Shows 25 Percent Rise

Washington reports a 25 percent rise in immigration to the United States in November over the prior year. A total of 77 474 immigrants arrived at ports, plus 1 394 who were turned back. Russia contributed 26 213, up 2 percent from November 1906.

After a death notice burial followed but Waldfish remains alive at home in Galicia notifying the lodge his supposed death harmed his mother who feared a ghost. The lodge plans an investigation and may sue the city for the funeral bill.

State authorities took control of the Neal Bank after the Atlanta Clearing House Association decided they could not risk the bank’s condition. Officials, led by Treasurer Park, examined about 9,000 accounts and worked through the bank’s loan portfolio.
