State troops may get money from 1902 measure
The Georgia House passed a military bill funding $20,000 for maintenance of the citizen soldiery, with amendments reducing the initial $30,000 request. The measure, introduced by Mr Grice of Pulaski, faced opposition but was adopted after friends agreed to accept $20,000. The bill now goes to the Senate for consideration.
