Six Year Old Boy Shot During Cowboy Game Dies in Grady
The 6 year old Neal Head of Decatur suffered a bullet wound to the head from a revolver in the hands of his 11 year old brother Benton during a game described as cowboy play. The pistol discharged while the brothers retrieved it from a bureau drawer. Doctors at Grady hospital fought to save the child as his mother Mrs. J H Head, living at 67 Ansley Avenue, Decatur, awaited word. The shooting occurred Tuesday afternoon. the mother aided by a neighbor and Dr J Pittman rushed the boy to hospital. By midnight Neal showed signs of improvement but remained critical.

Norman Reeves Shoots Dan Meredith in Danville Quarrel
