Canton Ga August 30 After a 24 hour hunt J B Kellogg the negro wanted for the murder of J E Landers in a near beer saloon here late Saturday night was captured near Woodstock. Sheriff Wit Mngham offered a $100 reward for Kelloggs arrest. He was brought here and jailed with ten or twelve other blacks who were gambling with him at the time of the killing. Judge Morris expects to call a special term of court to try Kellogg. Everything is quiet today and there is no danger of lynching.
