Maemien Neb August 25 due to a mis placed switch two freight trains on the Darlington and Missouri River road collided yesterday morning killing four persons and seriously injuring six. Victims include Myrtin Wallgus daughter of a farmer and John Wiyuiore station foreman. A box car was crushed killing one of thirteen men stealing a nde while the others escaped. Wounded trainmen numbered six but none expected to die.

At the Austin Texas international fairgrounds a scaffolding platform collapsed while carpenters repaving the auditorium. Four men were fatally injured and others were hurt as heavy timbers fell on them.
