Officer Elks Lodge Shot Wounds New Man in Initiation

Albany Ga August 25 Special During an Elks Lodge initiation a pistol used with blank cartridges was mixed with gallery ball cartridges. A ball struck officer H C Cox in the right thigh but the wound is not serious. The lodge issued a full statement saying the accident was due to careless mixing of blanks and live rounds.
