Car repairer may lose his left ear
Morris, a car repairer for the Seaboard Air Line railway, nearly had his left ear severed Thursday at 6 pm when fellow worker M F Fitzpatrick threw a cog wheel between cars. Morris was struck on the head, with the left car hanging by a thread. He was rushed to Atlanta hospital where Dr. Frank Eskridge treated him and hoped to graft the car back in place.
