A MURDERER'S FATS IN LAREDO MEXICO INCIDENT
August 14 Laneno Texas a former Texas ranger Jeff Miller from Laredo after a spree in Monterey Mexico mistakes a private residence for a house of ill fame. A policeman enters with a club and revolver Miller shoots wounding the officer who dies. Miller is wounded in the leg and later captured after strong resistance. He is said to have suffered indignities before capture. His fate uncertain. Also reports of a butcher Schissler killed and a man Mooney murdered in Arkansas with an office shooting mystery.
