Deadly railroad wreck near Chatsworth shocks Illinois

New York August 1 The firm H B Ives & Co announced suspension to the stock exchange amid excitement. Reported liabilities vary from 10 to 20 million with extensive railroad and brokerage creditors including Cincinnati Hamilton and Dayton Vandalia and Farmers Loan and Trust. Ives indicated liquidation will begin under a syndicate, with assets reportedly exceeding debts and street estimates under 10 million.

President to visit a string of midwest and southern cities
