Evidence includes a cap found in a railroad tunnel a new cap on Winters a unique tunnel cloth with tacks from him mud on his gun a chalk smothering aid and a battery bulb. Winters denies knowledge of the robbery.
August report from Whellington describes Admiral Kerapft forwarding details of a gunboat Annapolis crew member, Quartermaster McKie third class, being bitten by a shark or sea monster. McKie swam after a gurgling dive, surfaced shouting Shark near a bloodied sea, and reached the boat despite crippling injury. An Annapolis surgeon had to remove the rib between knee and hip.
The Kennesaw Memorial Association filed incorporation papers in Peoria Illinois. Incorporators include Colonel B A Harper Captain J H Hill and Captain Le J Dowdy. Janitors in Philadelphia city form a trust named The Janitors' Protective Association to improve conditions of those in charge of office buildings and flats.
