Rockefeller acquires a major fertilizer concern the South’s standout chemical firm passes into Standard Oil interests. The deal positions Standard Oil to expand its chemical and fertilizer holdings and influence in regional markets.

Dewey is 5 feet 6 inches tall weighs 135 pounds dark complexion with dark hair and eyes and was smooth shaven when he left.
