Wilson Entitled to Lunacy Trial in Cobb County
The Georgia Court of Appeals reversed a jury verdict finding John Wilson guilty of assault with intent to rape in Marietta Cobb County. The court deemed him of unsound mind and granted a new trial, suggesting insanity likely to be pursued. Wilson, son of a Goocheer in Glasgow, studied in Scotland before lodging at Ralph Stephens home and the attempted assault on Stephens wife.
