Hill declines joint debate bid in Georgia governor race

In a detailed reply to Sidney C. Tapp and J. L. Anderson, H. W. Hill questions Dupont Guerry's campaign stance and accuses Guerry of personal attacks. Hill notes Terrell declined a joint discussion with Guerry previously and argues a division of time would not illuminate key issues such as liquor traffic, lobbyism, railroad influence, and taxation. He defends Terrell's record on prohibition, railroads, and related policies, and rejects a two-way discussion as proposed.
