Will of RG Clark Upheld by Court in Georgia Case

In Moultre, Ga, a jury at Colquitt Superior Court upheld the will of RG Clark, a wealthy bachelor, disposing of property valued at roughly a quarter of a million dollars. The sole issue was the testator's mental capacity at signing. Proponents denied undue influence claims by Hoopry Clark and Cynthia McLendon, while Rev. George B. Clark testified against Henry Clark’s role in the dispute. The verdict favored the will's validity after brief deliberations.
