J W Simmons of the Boys' High School near a late entry against E C Merry for county school superintendent, a post paying 1700 yearly, previously unopposed. Coroner leads with five entrants, six seek two county commissioner seats. two blind candidates among contenders. Unopposed officials listed include clerks, judges, treasurer and surveyor. Democratic executive committee members mostly unopposed. Treasurer J QO Cochran notes committee collected 3216 dollars from candidates.
