Funeral Services Over Dead Chieftain McKinley

Dark skies and rain marked the state funeral for William McKinley as dignitaries from across the nation gathered to honor the late president. The service featured a Catholic-tinged procession, a somber oath to uphold the golden rule, and a final benediction as the casket lay in state and then departed to its resting place.
