Athenian Dies At His Summer Home
R C Latimer aged 80 died suddenly at his Brevard North Carolina summer home. A native of Lexington Georgia he moved to Athens about forty years ago and was an elder in the First Presbyterian church. Surviving are daughters Lena Groover Philadelphia and Fred S Morton Athens two sons Ed Latimer Comer and Arthur Latimer Athens. The body will be brought to Athens Sunday by rail and funeral arrangements will be made on arrival.
