Death of Judge Joseph G. Evans Minstered at Baxter Street
After a long illness Judge Joseph G. Evans died yesterday morning at eight o'clock. He suffered paralysis for years and declined steadily. He served as a notary public and ex officio justice of the peace in this district. He leaves a wife and two children. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Lodge F and A M and will be buried with Masonic honors. The funeral is at ten this morning at the Baxter Street residence.
