Lunacy Cases Ahead as Clarke County Trials Rise
Clarke county shows rising lunacy filings with four cases tried last month and two in the first half of the present month. Sixteen cases had been sent up by end of last month, with four tried last month all women. This month two more cases, both men, are ready for trial on the 24th and 26th led by Ed Woods and W E Kellum.

Hale dozen larceny cases heard in city court
City court sat to dispose of twelve larceny cases including half a dozen larceny from house and trust figures. Odell Winfrey pleaded guilty to stealing thirty five cents from Deadwyler stables and was fined seventy five dollars or six months. Otto Stevens and Arthur Curry were fined seventy five dollars or eight months for larceny from the house and shoplifting shoes respectively. John Anderson’s case was dismissed for lack of sufficient evidence. Cooper Butler and Sam Jackson faced charges with varied outcomes, including prison terms or fines.

Little Babe Chloe Fellows Buried In Simple Cemetery Rite
Yesterday afternoon the burial of six weeks old Chloe Fellows took place at the local cemetery.
