In Georgia elections Col Charles H Brand of Gwinnett withdrew from Solicitor General race Western circuit and Richard B Russell was unanimously re elected. Boykin Wright withdrew Augusta circuit and W H Davis of Burke was unanimously elected. Judge Robert Falligant Eastern circuit re elected. W W Fraser defeated T D Rockwell 104 to 98 for Solicitor General. Judge Joel L Sweat and W G Brantley re elected Brunswick circuit. George F Gober and George R Brown Blue Ridge circuit re elected. Beverly D Evans Jr re elected Middle Circuit. J M Griggs re elected Patula Circuit. W J Pirkle stricken with paralysis likely to die.

Sadie Scanlan also known as Mrs George Brennan and sister of William J Scanlan dies at 322 East 123d Street New York a few days after a severe cold. Born 1867 in Hartford Conn the actress leaves a four year old son and was famed in southern theater circles. Her husband an actor in her company was with her when she died and the hymn Nearer My God to Thee was heard as she passed.
