Miss Ruth Tribble Hurt in Runaway Parade Escort Incident
Yesterday morning Miss Ruth Tribble daughter of Col and Mrs J Tribble sustained injuries in a runaway on Jefferson road about four miles from the city. Her horse bolted after the parade with mounted escort unable to stop it. She was thrown and bruised yet safety ground prevented serious injuries. Carriage from a passing mail carrier brought her to town for medical attention and she safely returned home with no anticipated serious effects.
