Extra dynamo arranged for toe to remedy light shortage
A new dynamo has been secured to relieve the strained incandescent service. Manager Voss and Mr. Bloomfield arranged with the Electrical Supply Company for an additional dynamo to operate until the Barnett Shoals project is ready, increasing service and easing the old unit's burden. Jacob Fjelde, famed sculptor, died in Minneapolis after an operation for car trouble. He created the Gettysburg statue and modeled the Ole Bull statue. An earthquake hit Manabi province in Ecuador causing destruction near Puerto Viejo with many buried and structures down.
