Fire disrupts University of Georgia senior dance

A pistol shot ignited inflammable decorations at the Moss auditorium causing a sudden fire during the class of 1911 dance. Dancers and guests evacuated calmly as the fire department doused the blaze with chemical extinguishers and a sprinkler hose, saving the hall and lower stores.
