Clarke Superior Court held a special session admitting nearly every member of the University of Georgia law class to the bar. Judge Charlea H. Brand delivered a cordial sermon urging sobriety, diligence, integrity, and avoidance of politics, advising new lawyers to sacrifice time to study, keep clients' money separate, and maintain health for lasting success.

Yesterday closed with a large audience at the Grand Opera house in Atlanta as Chancellor Barrow delivered the graduation diplomas. The exercises featured an address from the chancellor and a full display of interest and proceedings.

Young Men's Christian Association Boys Camp at Nantahala River

The YMCA announces its annual boys camp in the Nantahala Valley North Carolina near Silver Birch Lodge nine miles from Prentiss. July 1 to 24 cost twelve dollars forty cents. younger boys pay nine dollars seventy cents with rail and wagon fare included. Membership in the association opens eligibility.

Money Needed for Boys Camp in Nantahala Valley

The Y M C A plans a North Carolina camp near the Georgia line with tents and gear repairs requiring sixty dollars. Funds already raised cover part of the cost. the rest is needed to provide a beneficial physical, mental, and spiritual experience for local boys. Plans for Repairing Old College Building

Plans for repairing Old College building on the University campus were approved. J J Dinck of Marietta and Capt J W Barnett outlined the work, estimated costs, and a bond bearing committee to oversee the project. Exterior brick replacement, new upper walls, and thorough interior renovation planned at under ten thousand dollars, with a state building value of at least forty thousand.

Athens Business College to Open in Moss Building

The Athens Business College under Byrne and Glenn will open Monday. Classroom space on Clayton street third floor is being prepared with new furniture. About forty to fifty scholarships may enroll at opening, with total attendance possibly exceeding two hundred as more sign up. Prof. Gaston from Tyler will manage early courses, followed by two other teachers, with Miss Fannie Jones instructing shorthand.

PUMPING STATION TO BE PUT IN ON OCO NE RIVER

The Southern Railway will install a pumping station on the Ocoee river near the Moss Manufacturing Co plant to fill a large tank on the Southern tracks. The improvement will be completed soon and will greatly aid train crews on the line.

Pardoned Walton County Burglary Convict George Smith

George Smith, a white man jailed in 1902 for burglary in Walton County, has been pardoned after serving five of eight years. Judge Charles H. Brand urged clemency, presenting the case to the pardon board and the governor, who granted the pardon yesterday.

Atlanta Woman Says Husband Has Been Drunk Fifteen Years

Mrs. L A Parker of 101 Powers Street told a policeman her husband L A Parker had been drunk for fifteen years. Recorder Broyles reduced a ten day sentence to five days after officer's request. Parker gave a brief reply when asked why he could not stop drinking.
