Accident at Clayton Street Crescent: Spencer Severely Injured
Mr F F Spencer of Hinman Spencer Contracting Company fell from a ten to twelve foot support while supervising work on the Michael Bros building on Clayton street. He jumped to the pavement, broke bones in the right ankle, and was taken to St Mary’s Hospital where he will be unable to walk for some time. Major W A Wilkins Dies After Illness at 71
Major William A Wilkins died yesterday at his Weynesboro home after a brief pneumonia illness. He leaves four children Inez Jones R C Neely Capt W A Wilkins and Mrs Charles A Scudder. A UGA graduate who studied law and later thrived in business, he served as president of the agricultural high school trustees board for the first district. Funeral services will be held this morning in Waynesboro.

Mr J T Crowley, a well known county resident, died Wednesday night after a buggy accident Sunday. He fell from the vehicle when the horse frightened. He died before aid could reach him.
