Funeral of Miss Basinger at Emmanuel Episcopal
Yesterday afternoon at 3 45 the funeral services for Miss Elizabeth Basinger, member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, were led by Rev. Troy Beatty. Pallbearers included J Lustrat D C Barrow D M Snelling H C White Harry Hodgson H J Rowe B Griffith and J H T McPherson. The casket then went to the Central of Georgia Railway station for shipment to Savannah where interment will be today.

Wireless telegraph stations expand in Athens city
Athens now operates four active wireless telegraphy stations. The newest near the State Normal School cost several hundred dollars and was funded by local developers. Will Pope at Dearing and Pope streets, Ira Bradberry on College avenue, and Mr Moore run other stations. Pope reports several clear night messages from New York World’s instruments and from Isthmus of Panama stations on multiple occasions.

WIDVILLE MEN Meningitis SCARE CALLED OVERSTATED

Probably Baptism Under Tent to Mark Real Tabernacle Event
The first baptism under a canvas tent in the state may occur next Sunday at the Baptist Tabernacle in the city located on Childa street opposite the high school near Prince avenue.
