L Crawford the only negro representative from MoIlotosh county in the general assembly died this morning at 8 80 at 163 Fraser street where he boarded. He served a fourth term in the state legislature and had been ill during nearly the entire session. He was about 60 years old and lived in Darien Georgia. He was a preacher in the African Methodist church and was said to be an intelligent man who attended to his duties faithfully.
