Yesterday morning El Brown a small Negro boy was arrested for stealing corn from the field of Mr. T. W. Powell. Powell swore out a warrant before Judge Foster and the boy will be tried. The boy admits possession of the corn and says a white man gave it to him. he will be given chance to name the man or face further action.
