Dr Charles H Finley a former local resident died Sunday night at Grady Hospital Atlanta during an operation for hemorrhoids. He had been in poor health and delayed the procedure. He visited Athens recently with his seven year old daughter left with grandparents Judge and Mrs B Wingfield. He left a will with brothers in law and wife Miss Lila Wingfield had died years earlier leaving a daughter who was the family’s joy.
