Colony to Feature 2 Art Exhibits
Two exhibits open Saturday at the French Art Colony in Gallipolis. Nancy Howell Koehler displays macrame and textiles while Portraits From the American West from Huntington Galleries touring collection showcases 15 lithographs of 19th century American Indians. The Huntington show tours West Virginia, eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio through December 1972.

The 12th family reunion of Rev. and Mrs. B L Darst was hosted by Mrs. Sara Etta Spencer at Kanauga Park. Attendees included Rev. and Mrs. Darst, Rev. The Izaak Walton League installed officers and directors at a Waterloo State Forest meeting. New officers are William Liggett president Chuck Monroe vice president John Cornwell secretary treasurer Dr Charles Randall Blain Rice and Keith Gabriel. Directors are Don Slagle and Robert Frey. A potluck supper is planned Oct 24 at 5 p.m. at the forest cabin. The annual state meeting is set for Oct 9 and 10 in Mt Healthy. Slides on mountain climbing Yellowstone North Wyoming and the Grand Canyon were shown by Keith Butt.
