Miss Yvonne Sherow daughter of Mr and Mrs Vic Sherow of Roosevelt Drive has started studies at the Sorbonne Paris researching government and piano She sailed on the Queen Elizabeth Sept 16 with a group of US exchange students and will study at the University of Nice in the second semester Also Miss Christian Dupuy former Paris Normal School student is attending Ohio University for her senior year living with the Sherons and majoring in Education.

The Athens Interchurch Youth Choir started its 1953 54 season with a dinner by the choir board at Athens Country Club. Clark Williams welcomed members and Jon Thackery spoke as choir president. Mrs. Nessley outlined season plans and introduced Mrs. Householder as new choir mother. Gloria Thompson and George Crawford offered vocal selections before a full choir rehearsal ahead of the October 18 public appearance by Eskimo lecturer Ananta.
