Boy Trapped 42 Hours After Plane Crash Rescue
In Alberta a 12 year old boy Michael Lintner was found hanging head down beside his mother's body after 42 hours in a wrecked plane. He suffered a skull fracture a broken arm and frozen feet and is in critical condition after surgery in Edmonton. His mother Mrs A L Lintner and he were en route from Anchorage Alaska to a school in the U S when the crash occurred 65 miles northwest of Fort Nelson. An RCAF plane spotted the wreckage guiding a ground party to the scene.
