Milk Prices Take Another 2 Cent Jump in Athens

Milk prices in Athens were raised by 2 cents per quart with officials blaming failure of Agriculture Department to act on regional pleas. Ohio Dairy Products Association secretary E A Anderson said prices to farmers had risen due to Wisconsin Michigan cheese and milk plant formulas, with further 25 cent per 100 rise anticipated for butter and powder formulas. Delegations urged Washington to suspend the formula in the area to prevent price hikes not in the public interest.
