Union Furnace Boosters Open First Meeting

Union Furnace Band members held their first meeting of the year led by Mrs. Kenneth Hinerman. C. C. Penrod and Richard Lasko spoke on band programs, with a vocal duet Mocking Bird Hill and an accordion piece performed by students. Refreshments and a door prize followed in the cafeteria.

Louise Burbridge and children visited Mrs. Glen Jewell. Douglas Clay and family visited Pearl Robinson and later Roy Haning. Mrs. Herbert Barnhart is at Meigs Hospital after surgery.

Neil, a Churchill High School graduate, served four years in the Navy, and his wife Ann works as a lab technician at an air base.
