Former Town Marshall Placed on Probation in Perry County
Harry Opperman, 34, and ex town marshal of Shawnee, was placed on nine years probation after pleading guilty to three burglary charges. Restitution of about 1500 was made per witness Mollencamp, and he was arrested March 12 after entering with a pass key. He lost his marshal job following the arrest.
