Middleport Considers Water for Hill Families and Conservancy Route
Middleport Village Council discusses providing water to about five families on Middleport Hill. The Board of Public Affairs favors laying pipes and a four speed pump funded by a $1.50 monthly hike for 12 months, with a $5 minimum and $75 top fee for hill residents. The plan hinges on a legal written request from the Leading Creek Conservancy District or village action, while authorities weigh borrowing costs and sewer matters remain.
