Army of West Virginia closes three days reunion at Gallipolis

Republicans to stage large Jackson county meeting in September

Chief Inspector of Mines Reports Record Coal Output Rise

The governor’s Friday briefing shows coal production last year reached ASST tons, up 7 GA tons from the year before. Four leading mines—Jackson, Percy, Athos, Huck—top the output with 2,072 tons, 1,071 tons, 1,177 tons, and 1,IAA tons respectively, as the Hocking Valley field produced 1,087,504 tons, marking the greatest output in state history.
