No lives were lost during the 80 mile gale at Mobile Alabama, with property damage reported as not great. Wires to Pensacola failed to deliver updates and New Orleans experienced a 30 mile wind that caused no damage.
Wisconsin authorities pursued five bandits who robbed the First National Bank in Columbus late Monday. They escaped with about $8,500 in currency and several hundred thousand dollars in non negotiable securities.

C. H. Eichinger to Middleport and Rev. E. H. Morrell back to Nelsonville. The Athens church voted to retain Dr. McGurk, while Rev. Frederick Brown moves to Adelphi and Rev. I. P. Day takes his place in Athens. The district office confirms assignments across Athens, Gallipolis, Middleport, and Reedville.

Rene Fonck and Lieut. Lawrence Curtain miraculously survived after the start of their New York to Paris flight ended in flames. Crewman Charles Clavier and James Islamoff died in the crash when the gear failed and the plane plunged into a gully at Roosevelt Field.
