Canton indictments name Louis Mazer and Ben Rudner in the murder of publisher Don R. Mellett. Mazer to be moved from Cleveland where held on Volstead Act charges. In Washington County near Cutler, 11 year old Eddie Kennedy discharged a loaded shotgun striking 10 year old Charles Franklin Mayle. Mayle died at Camden Clark hospital in Parkersburg shortly after the accident at about 5 35 PM. Kennedy says he believed the gun was not loaded. Both boys attended Big Run rural school.

Somerville New Jersey September 15. The hold over April grand jury was called to convene today to take up the four year old Hall Mills murder case. Reopened investigation and new evidence were cited as the reason for the sudden session. Indictments for the murder of Rev. Edward W. Hall and Eleanor Mills are anticipated.
