Ruth McColloch died at home near Stewart Ohio on August 4 1887 in her 79th year after three weeks of suffering. She was born October 22 1808 in Berkeley County Virginia and moved to Ohio in 1844 with her husband A W McColloch. She left eleven children eight surviving, and had belonged to the M E Church for over 50 years. A daughter Martha M Parrill died August 30 1887 in Ironton Ohio. remains brought to Guysville for burial beside her husband.
