Mason County 4-H Elects Mountain Climbers Officers
Joyce McCoy was elected president of the Mountain Climbers 4-H Club at a Monday meeting at the McCoy home in Gallipolis Ferry. Other officers include Janie Jordan as vice president Janet McCoy secretary Johnny Mitchell treasurer and several leaders and adult counselors. Thirty three Busy Bee 4-H members met at Ordnance School with reports on the Farm Youth Show and plans for a day ride.

Baptist Association Music Supper Held in Jackson
Mr and Mrs C L Hern and others visited Beulah Thomas on Charleston Road Sunday. The Rio Grande Association of the Baptist Church convened in Jackson last Saturday with Rev Newkirk and several ladies and singers in attendance. Families and friends gathered near Pleasant and Gallipolis for reunions as Kay Clark entered Holzer Hospital for nursing training.
