LOGAN A youth, 18 year old Ralph McElwaine Jr of Cincinnati, admitted seizing a teenage girl on Mound Street September first after following Mrs. George Johnson, wife of a city police officer, to her home on North High Street. He was taken into custody by police and later released to his parents. No charges filed pending psychiatric evaluation. police had been receiving reports of women followed and window peeping.

Two concession stands in Hocking County were burglarized early Monday after midnight. Thieves broke a door lock and stole an undetermined amount of merchandise. inventory will determine the loss. Edyteichley forest ranger discovered the break. It is the second such incident this summer at these venues.
