Bromley Hall Opens in Athens as Tallest Local Building
Athens residents toured Bromley Hall a $3.5 million nine story dormitory by Tishman Realty. The high rise, rushed to completion in a year, houses Ohio University students with occupancy near 95 percent of 581. Top floors house women and bottom floors men with separate elevators and a completed lounge dining recreation and study area. The pool is the only unfinished feature slated for two weeks.

The US Forest Service leases Sells Park to the city of Athens for 10 years starting August and ending December 31 1975. Mayor Raymond Shepard says the city will add picnic facilities playgrounds and hiking trails with supervision by the recreation commission and support from the Athens Business Association Sertoma and Boy Scouts.

Jury Trial Set for Albany Driver on DUI Charge
