LOF protests PUCO price policy on self-help gas program
Libbey-Owens-Ford urges Gov. Rhodes to intervene after PUCO ruling that Columbia Gas of Ohio need not contract with individual industries for emergency gas. LOF estimates a $358,700 annual cost and notes $1 million invested in self-help gas in Ohio and Oklahoma. Wingerter, LOF board chair, argues the decision harms industries investing in self-supply gas programs. Rhodes aides say the governor is aware and concerned about the issue.
