Excursions for the season announce a Summer Night’s Carnival in Baltimore in September. The city will be illuminated with arc and incandescent lights, Greek fire and gas, with forty floats, two hundred thirty characters, thirteen hundred men, two hundred forty horses, and thirty-five thousand dollars spent. The Mystic Pageant will outshine all, and Baltimore’s monuments will glow as districts host visits to Washington, Old Point Comfort, and more under half-fare B&O excursions.
