Nelsonville School Enrollment Edges Down From 1962
Opening day enrollment for Nelsonville City Schools reports 1133 students, down from 1138 a year earlier. Elementary grades K through 6 total 592 pupils, grades 7 through 12 at the high school total 541, with six new teachers at the high school and two at the elementary. Principal J. K. Kinneer leads the high school staff. Principal Ralph Clum directs elementary staff.
