Army veteran Held in Slaying of Librarian at Lawrenceville High
Charles Petrach 25 of Gary Indiana awaited formal charges after confessing to firing seven shots at Georgine Lyon a Lawrenceville High School librarian and former girlfriend. Sheriff Burgoon said Petrach related the shooting during police interview recorded on a wire recorder after the fatal campus romance ended. Lyon is from near Madison Indiana and worked at the Lawrenceville school.
